LAPHAM Margaret J. Lapham, age 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 24, 1920. Margaret was born to H. Stewart and Edna Lapham on September 27, 1029. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stewart Lapham. She is survived by her many cousins and will be deeply missed by her "adopted family", Jim and Joy Bartlett, and Jeb, Jason, and Jared Bartlett. She also leaves behind her beloved Boston terrier, Samson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 AM at her church, Berean Baptist, 1574 Coit NE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Duane Duhon and Rev. Charles Wood officiating.
Interment will be at Fairplains Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet Margaret's family Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Van Strien-Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE, Grand Rapids. Her family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookfuneralservices.com. Contributions in memory of Margaret may be made to Berean Baptist Church.
