DEWITT, Nettie "Helen" DeWitt age 88 of Wyoming formerly of Byron Center, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 20, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Willis, her son-in-law Michael Wolf and grandson Billy DeWitt.
She is survived by her children, William (Wanda) DeWitt, Gerald (Julie) DeWitt, Donald DeWitt, Cheryl Wolf and Bonnie (Brian) Bedwell; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and her brother Jerry Shanahan. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11am Friday at St John Vianney Catholic Church. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St, and one hour prior to the service on Friday at church. Internment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookfuneralservices.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
