WIERSMA (Kruer) – Kimberly Sue Wiersma, age 34, of Hudsonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Jane Polmanteer and Suzanne Kruer; and cousin, Nicholas Donley.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jeremy Wiersma; daughters, Mackenzie, Lindsi, and Elina; parents, Chris & Peggy Kruer; brother, Jason (Jennifer) Kruer; mother and father in-law, Deb (Mike) Bowman and Jim (Laurel) Wiersma; sisters-in-law, Kristina (Bruce) Berry and Missy (Mike) McIntyre; grandfather, Arthur Polmanteer; special niece and nephew, Owen Kruer and Sidney Kruer; several in-law nieces and nephews; her special cousin who was like a sister, Amanda Hudgins; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends.
The funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (East Building) with Pastor Rob Holland officiating. Interment will be at Blendon Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville (West Building). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Wiersma Children's Education/Care Fund at Lake Michigan Credit Union.
