JENKINS (Griffith) – Merrilla M. Jenkins, age 91, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Jenkins. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, George & Gloria Jenkins, Harry & Linda Jenkins, Carol & Howard Ondersma, and Karen & Brian Ball; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Malusky, Leo & Lyl Griffith, Norma & Don Wheaton, and Lyle & Faye Griffith; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, July 22, 2010, at the Clyde Park Church of the Nazarene, 2545 Clyde Park SW with Pastor Bill Couchenour officiating.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th SW. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Clyde Park Church of the Nazarene - Building Fund.
